Today I had a very difficult procedure — an apicoectomy — at Lagerfeld Dental in Litchfield Park, and I truly cannot express enough gratitude to the entire team. The doctor was absolutely amazing: so professional, caring, gentle, and talented. The manager was wonderful as well — so kind, attentive, and supportive. Every single dental assistant was incredibly sweet, patient, and caring. You can really feel the warmth and positive atmosphere in this office. I recently needed an emergency appointment for an infection in a previously treated root canal (tooth #15), and Litchfield Endodontics was able to get me in quickly. From the moment I walked in, the front office staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The dental assistant was thorough, attentive, and made sure I was comfortable and informed. I was treated by Michael P. Thompson, DDS, and I cannot say enough about his dedication and professionalism. I was determined to save my tooth, and he worked relentlessly to make that happen. Every hurdle that came up, he handled with patience and precision, always checking to make sure I was doing okay. He explained each step as he went, which made me feel genuinely cared for — not like just another patient to rush through. Dr. Thompson was gentle, extremely detail‑oriented, and truly made my care feel like his top priority. It’s rare to find that level of commitment and compassion in a specialist. If I ever need to see an endodontic specialist again, I won’t hesitate to return to Litchfield Endodontics and Dr. Michael P. Thompson. Outstanding experience from start to finish.

Dr Thompson will make you feel a confidence in his ability to perform the procedure that you are having. He explains in detail prior to and during the process what he is doing. This helped to calm my nerves. I highly recommend Dr Thompson and Litchfield Endodontics.

Got me in to see him right away as I was in real pain. Very nice dental assistant. Dr came in after all the rays were done. Great guy and was very knowledgeable. Went over everything, making sure I understood. Gave me two options and sent the info to my dentist, so they could discuss the options with me and help me make a determination of my next steps. Very professional office, Dr Thompson was very detailed in his evaluation & exams. The tech had some trouble obtaining the oral CT images & required assistance, but overall the consult went well, and I appreciated the thoroughness of the opinions of Dr Thompson. I believe he will give my referring dentist a true & reasonable opinion of his findings, which benefits my treatments going forward. Overall a very good referral & visit.
